Independent contractors who sometimes accept projects away from home need temporary housing for a few weeks, several months or even longer. Extended-stay hotels and vacation homes tend to be expensive, and short-term apartment leases are difficult to find. Finding a place that allows a pet can seem impossible. Another option is RV temporary housing in Tampa, FL.
The Comforts of Home
Staying in a large RV provides all the comforts of home. Some RV temporary housing in Tampa, FL has a bedroom at the back. More sleeping space could be over the driver’s cab, and some foldout furniture usually is included.
A bathroom with a shower and tub means the resident never has to use the campground’s bathing facilities if he or she is uncomfortable with this. Electric hookups provide power for lights and other devices.
About Independent Contractors
Independent contractors can be found in a broad range of occupations. Some choose this lifestyle because they like the variety and don’t want to be tied to a permanent job. Others enjoy traveling and living in different places. In some occupations, the pay rate can be substantially higher for contractors needed during qualified worker shortages.
Housing Stipends
Many of these men and women receive a stipend for housing in addition to their wages. Typically, this is a flat rate not associated with the actual rent the worker pays. That motivates many individuals to find housing that costs less than the stipend so they can keep the extra money.
