This industry requires people who are interested in a formal education, and those who don’t mind earning a degree. To get started, you will require a bachelor’s, but you can also get higher level degrees, like a master’s.

If you want to go into this career field, you should know that you will be working with other art-minded people. This includes working with art galleries, orchestras or symphonies, ballets, museums, theatres, and other similar organizations. People who have advanced degrees, such as a masters, are probably more likely to get better jobs in larger cities. However, you should get experience in smaller cities.
Job Description
People in this industry work with organizations that are generally oriented towards the arts. Companies that hire people with these degrees might be for-profit, non-profit, or even government entities.
Depending on who you work for, you might have a different set of duties, but in general, you can expect to do things like manage the activities of the organization and promote the activities. This might include the marketing of a show or exhibit. You also will interact with all of the staff in the organization you work for, including performers, artists, and those who support them. Again, keep in mind that you can enter into this field with a bachelor’s, but most of the jobs require a master’s or even a doctorate. Daily Duties
When you enter into this field, you generally will have several duties that you do on a daily/weekly basis. This might include planning events, developing a budget, negotiating contracts, and engaging the community.
